'Your life matters'
'Your life matters' is a series of seminars which began on 16th October following the 4 + The One concert at Star Theatre. Pastors Roland and Stuart have been the key speakers presenting at College Park church. So far we have enjoyed 4 seminars in the series and we look forward to the rest. On the first Friday evening Pastor Roland shared with us the meaning of sin. His message was very personal as he acknowledged what it felt like to be a sinner. On the second evening, Pastor Stuart spoke to us about having a life with meaning, that we need God in our lives to have a purpose. He also shared a very funny story about an interesting tour he had taken part in in England, in a cheese factory (our sympathy to the tour guide!) On the third evening, Pastor Roland spoke to us about blaming others (even God) for our troubles. Many bad things happen in our lives as as result of poor choices being made. It is therefore wrong to blame anyone else but ourselves! On the fourth evening, Pastor Stuart talked to us about forming a relationship with God forever. There have been a range of people attending the seminars from youth to adults. At each seminar, 4 + The One sing a special item to enrich the program and uplift the attendees.
